Cub Scout Pine Wood Derby

Andruw worked hard to get his car ready for his Pack Derby Race. Great Grandpa helped him carve the shape while we were down for Christmas. He picked out a Hotwheels car he wanted his to look like. It took him several days to paint all the layers. He picked out a paint kit and a decal kit to decorate his car. He went with red and black with Dragon decals. These named his car the Dragonfire and his car number 5.

All his hard work paid off. He won first place for the Tiger cubs in his Pack. He won a little trophy for winning and he gets to race his car against other Tiger cubs in our counsil area during the Scout-a-rama in April. I’ll post the results of this big event when it happens!
